Indian Home Minister Amit Shah in an exclusive conversation with Mirror Now, talked about the politics and killing of workers in West Bengal just as the Bengal elections approach. He questioned the 'democracy' in West Bengal referencing the alleged political killings of 130 people by TMC goons. He strongly condemned the act and went on to say that there is no place of political violence in a democracy like India.
Around 130 killings of BJP workers have happened, regarding which he also added that if BJP comes to power in Bengal, ‘hum un logo ko chun chun kar kanoon ke samne layenge’ who attacked their workers in the State.
Another burning issue right now is the toolkit conspiracy and the arrest of the 21 year old activist Disha Ravi, for sharing an allegedly 'Terrorizing Khalistani toolkit', when asked about her arrest under the terrorist laws by the Delhi police he said that the ‘Delhi Police is working according to the law’.
